Can we say S-T-R-E-S-S?

It’s been nearly three months since I started at Intelsat and my three month review is coming up on Thursday. I’m very excited for some feedback and really like the fact that the HR department works with managers to provide a review period without having to wait a year. I must admit, however, […]

Below the Belt (way)

Perhaps the best part of The Sunday Post (aside from the coupons) is Below the Beltway. This week, Gene and Gina (his female voice) discuss Darwin’s explaination of cheating mates (namely, the men).
Gina: No. Humanity is not a version of “Wild Kingdom.” Women do not fall for older men men because they think, […]

My New Boyfriend

Christopher calls the “GymGuy” my new boyfriend. I suppose it’s a very good thing that Chris is so lighthearted about the current drama in my life. Here’s the latest installment: (I should preface this by mentioning that at this point, GymGuy is very aware of my engagement and the fact that I […]

Friday Five

I’m nonplussed by today’s Friday Five, but oh well. It’s still Friday, and that makes me happy.

How long have you had a weblog? Since November of 2000.

What was your first post about? Ironically, it was about testing blogger out with my website.

How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there […]

Lunch Date?

GG: “Sorry, I didn’t know. We can get lunch tomorrow. In fact, I’ll even buy you lunch tomorrow.”
KD: […]

Blogger issues

What’s going on with my posts! Not sure here, I’m trying to clean up some of the old stuff that got messed up in my conversion to bloggerPro, but we’ll see. Meanwhile, it seems that my posts are trying to move around on me.

Atari Robot…baby?!

I never thought one could really die from laughter, until today. This is fucked up! Thanks for the laugh Ernie.

Current Reading

I recently completed Miles From Nowhere. What an amazing book. If you hadn’t figured it out by now, I’m real into non-fiction, specifically anything that has to do with outdoor adventures. My current read is Ultimate High, the story of Goran Kropp’s unprecedented journey that took him by bicycle from Sweden to […]

Web copyright?

I’m not sure what the legalities are behind pilfering content from a website without acknowledging the source. My hunch tells me that even if a given instance were proven, the open forum of the blogs would make it difficult to actually hold someone accountable. In all honesty, one of the things I love […]

Lost posts

Bummer. In an attempt last week to make some changes to blogs that existed before my ‘pro conversion’, I seem to have deleted everything except the edited posts. I guess they kept the information separately when I converted. whatever.
